Outfit of the Week: Trendy clouds and love drops designs

A scandi-style cloud print is one of the hot trends this summer; let’s hope it doesn’t mean we’re in for a wet one!

With its minimalist design, muted tones and lovely patterns, we love the scandi-style. We are so pleased it’s gaining such popularity in the UK now, but it’s still not easy to find baby clothing from UK manufacturers that have embraced it.

Thankfully we have partnered with a contemporary brand from Portugal, Huggee, who have a lovely range of ‘purewear’ with scandi-style clouds and droplets (they call love drops). This includes a gorgeous teal knitted blanket with cloud pattern; better still it’s reversible! There’s a choice of long sleeved vests with teal clouds or love drops, and the luxury knitted trousers are teal with white droplets.

These clothes are not your average baby clothes, Huggee’s clothes are ‘purewear’; made with GOTS certified organic cotton in a factory that works to high ethical standards. They want their baby clothing to be as pure as it can be; pure in its materials and pure in its production process. This determination adds cost to the process, so their baby clothing is premium priced, but for shoppers who are passionate about the environment, quality and style, they are ideal.
