Better for baby's delicate skin
Babies have delicate skin, especially premature babies because their dermis - which is the last layer of skin - is not completely formed. Organic cotton is gentle and kinder to a baby's skin.

There is less of a chance of baby developing skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and skin allergies. It is mould resistant and antimicrobial too.

Better quality and longer lasting
Because the fibres have not been damaged by chemicals during production, the quality of the cotton is superior. Therefore, clothing made from organic cotton should last longer than those made of conventional cotton.

Better for the planet
For environmentally conscious shoppers there's no doubt that choosing to buy organic cotton clothing is better for the world. Organic cotton farming is less polluting, uses less energy and water, and the health of workers is also not compromised.

So why do we sell non-organic cotton clothing too?
Many of our products are organic, but you do pay a premium for premium products. So to offer a range of value priced items too, we also sell a lot of standard cotton clothing, with no complaints.

It really is down to how sensitive baby's skin is, personal preference, and budget.

Eco-conscious packaging & delivery

RECYLABLE - All orders will be packaged in a recyclable box or a craft paper bag.
PLASTIC-FREE - No plastic packaging or excess material or paperwork.
LETTERBOX FITTING - A letterbox fitting box is used where possible which minimises CO2 with 1st time delivery.
LOW CO2 DELIVERY - UK delivery is by Royal Mail who have the least CO2 per parcel of all major UK carriers and are very reliable.

Founded by a NICU Nurse
Little Mouse was founded by a Neonatal Nurse with a genuine desire to help family and friends of premature babies; and the fact we can make a living from doing so is a dream come true. As we grow we will do even more charitable work.

Our suppliers

We are mindful that the fashion industry is tarnished by brands using child labour and environmentally unfriendly practises. We want nothing to do with this and make efforts to choose suppliers that reflect our values. The majority of our clothing is made with organic cotton, and most of our brands have strong sustainability policies and give back to communities or charities.
