Notes on delivery and order processing
Monday to Friday orders received by 2pm will normally be processed the same day, but it's not guaranteed.
Orders received over the weekend will be posted on the Monday, with no distribution on Public Holidays. Saturday delivery is included in the UK and some other countries.
Our UK services do cover the Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man.
Letterbox size packaging
Where possible we will use a box that fits through most letterboxes to achieve a first time delivery.
Who delivers for us?
The 1st Class option is Royal Mail First Class Tracked; most orders will be delivered within 1 day, but a small % may take 2 days. 2nd Class Delivery uses the Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked service. Most orders take 2 days, with a small % taking an extra day.
Special Delivery is by Royal Mail. Standard international delivery is by Royal Mail and Express uses DPD, UPS, DHL or Fedex.
Customs duties and taxes
Shipments outside of the EU may incur customs duties/taxes which are the responsibility of the purchaser and we cannot be held liable for any unfortunate delays at Customs.
Delivering to hospitals
Delivering to a hospital is allowed, but we cannot be responsible for any packages that go missing once delivered. Hospitals can be very large and their postrooms not always reliable, so please proceed with caution.
Places we cannot deliver to
While we're more than happy to deliver your order to your place of work, there are a few exceptions. For reasons out of our control, we can't deliver to any of the following:
• Military Bases / British Forces Post Office
• HM Prisons
• P.O. Boxes
• Countries affected by conflict, embargoes, etc
We can deliver to hospitals but please see the note above.
If you have any problems with a delivery please contact us and we will do our very best to resolve it (99.2% of deliveries arrive on time!).
We receive very few returns, about 1% (and they are almost always due to someone ordering a wrong sized or duplicate gift). Our returns policy is very straightforward and fair.
