Coronavirus impacts
We have remained open for business!
We're a small family-run business and we run it from an extension to our home, so we are able to continue to fulfil orders. We are taking Government's advice very seriously regarding social distancing and cleanliness.
Delivery delays?
Delivery problems are not widespread.
However we hope you will understand if on some occasions there are delays, as the impact on Royal Mail offices and personnel may differ from place to place. They are suffering from absenteeism as people self-isolate, and they are extremely busy as most people continue to do a lot of their shopping online.
1st Class Royal Mail - packages will usually take 1 or 2 days to be delivered. Most delays reported are a day or two, but rarely some deliveries have taken up to 7 working days
2nd Class Royal Mail - packages will usually take 2 to 3 days to be delivered. Most delays reported are 1 or 2 days, but rarely some deliveries have taken up to 7 working days
Special Delivery - 95% of parcels are arriving next day, there have been very few delays. No signature will be taken currently and delivery can be up until 9pm.
Tracking - Online tracking is only available once a delivery has been attempted. If you miss a delivery you should receive a red card with details of how to collect it or arrange a redelivery.
International - the impact on international deliveries is more common and can change quickly as countries and suppliers adapt their policies. We estimate that 20% of international deliveries are delayed currently, especially outside of the EU.
