The Lullaby Trust

This fabulous charity does so many wonderful things. You may have already heard of it for its incredible work on the prevention of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) through research, advice and campaigns for safer sleep for babies. The Lullaby trust also provides beautiful bereavement support. They have a freephone bereavement support helpline that allows parents, family members and anyone effected by the death of a baby to speak to someone patient, empathetic for as long as they need. 

The freephone number is 0808 802 6868, the opening hours are Monday – Friday: 10am-5pm, Weekends and public holidays: 6pm–10pm. 

The Lullaby Trust also helps to make tribute pages for babies who have died, for families and friends to leave messages. The website has many useful resources too.
