Coronavirus - open us unsual, minimal delivery delays
It has had no impact on our ability to fulfil orders, and 95% of UK orders are being delivered on time. If you urgently need your order next day please choose Special Delivery (UK). Delays are more common to international addresses and during these unprecedented times we cannot provide refunds for delays.

Customs charges inc. Brexit impact
For orders shipped internationally (not to a UK address) prices and delivery costs do not include any customs charges or taxes that may apply and they are payable by the recipient when the parcel arrives in-country. Since Brexit these charges apply to EU countries too. More info.

Delivery queries
Delivery issues are rare - you can see this on Trustpilot - but if you're one of the unlucky few please contact us and we'll do all we can to help.

Letterbox delivery & lovely packaging
We use a letterbox size box wherever possible to ensure a first-time delivery. All orders are carefully wrapped in tissue too.

Coronavirus delivery delays
Coronavirus impacts countries in different ways and there may be delivery delays which we cannot influence or provide refunds for.

Who do we ship with?

Royal Mail International
Royal Mail collect from us and export the parcel. It's then handed to the national postal service of the destination country who handles the delivery. Deliveries are tracked, but it's not as comprehensive as courier.

Courier
We use a number of courier companies, depending on the country: Typically UPS, DHL, DPD, or Fedex. They are quicker than Royal Mail and tracking is more extensive and reliable.

IMPORTANT!
Customs duties and taxes

Shipments sent internationally i.e not to an address in the UK (including to the EU) may incur customs duties and/or taxes which are the responsibility of the recipient (who is considered 'the importer of record').

If customs charges do apply they are payable by the recipient when the parcel arrives in-country,and the delivery company's customs broker will contact the recipient (or the delivery driver will request payment).

How much are customs duties and taxes?
To some countries it could add aprox. 20%-30% to the total cost but to other countries the charge could be £0 with just a customs clearance fee to pay (typically £5-£10).

Please check the import regulations and duty-free thresholds for the country you wish to ship to.

See an order being packed

All orders are packed like this. You can see on Trustpilot that our packaging is one of the main things customers and gift recipients mention so positively.

People also love being able to include a card with personalised message.

This video is just 20 seconds.

Letterbox size box

Where possible we will use a box that fits through most letterboxes so delivery can still be made if no one is home.

Order processing

Monday to Friday orders received by 2pm will be processed the same day.

** Missed the 2pm cut off time but need next day delivery?
Please contact us and if we're able to help we will try our best. We often can!

Who delivers for us?

The 1st Class option is Royal Mail First Class Tracked; most orders will be delivered within 1 day, but a small % may take 2 days. 2nd Class Delivery uses the Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked service. Most orders take 2 days, with a small % taking an extra day.

Special Delivery is by Royal Mail. Standard international delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked, and Express uses Parcelforce, UPS, DHL, DPD or Fedex.

Delivering to hospitals

Delivering to a hospital or Ronald McDonald House is allowed, but we cannot be responsible for any packages that go missing once delivered. Hospitals can be very large and their postrooms not always reliable, so please proceed with caution. We also recommend including PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL within the address and choosing Special Delivery.

Places we cannot deliver to

While we're more than happy to deliver your order to your place of work, there are a few exceptions. For reasons out of our control, we can't deliver to any of the following:
• Military Bases / British Forces Post Office
• HM Prisons
• P.O. Boxes
• Countries affected by conflict, embargoes, etc

We can deliver to hospitals but please see the note above.

Returns

We receive very few returns - about 2% - and they are almost always due to someone ordering a wrong sized or duplicate gift.

Our returns policy is very straightforward and fair.
