Why our size brackets work
Sizes such as 3lb–5lb may seem wide, but weight doesn't always reflect a premature baby's length, shape or proportions.
Our sizing allows for:
- Different proportions – babies of the same weight can have different builds.
- Medical care – extra room can make access easier.
- Layering – room for a vest or other layers.
-
Growing room – comfort as your baby grows.
Your purchases help us give back
Little Mouse was founded by a NICU Nurse with a desire to support premature babies and their families. Every purchase helps us continue that mission.
NICU donations
We donate specialist premature baby clothing to neonatal units and families in need, including clothing to support bereaved parents.
Supporting Tommy’s
We donate £2 to Tommy’s, the baby charity, for every purchase of our premature baby milestone cards.
Ethical brands
Many of the brands we stock are chosen for their ethical values and their support of charities, families and communities.
When you shop with Little Mouse, you’re helping us make a difference to babies, families and communities.
Why you will love this brand

Comfortable and practical
Items are designed to make dressing easier and less disruptive.
Organic cotton

Made in Britain
Quality manufacturing

More sustainable and ethical
With all items in this range produced in the UK, there's no air miles and fewer trucking miles. Plus the seamstresses are paid fairly and work in good conditions.
Putting back into the local economy
Local production by a small business employing local people, who spend their money locally. We think that's better than producing in the far east.
