This week is baby loss awareness week. A time to remember babies that are sadly not in their parents arms as they should be.
This is a cause that is close to our hearts. There are so many people that are sadly affected by the loss of a baby whether through a miscarriage, stillbirth or a neonatal death. I am a NICU nurse and and I have had the sad privilege to nurse families saying goodbye to their babies, and it is these amazingly brave parents I will be thinking about most this week.
Sands is one of the amazing charities in the UK that helps bereaved families and we will be featuring a blog post later on in the week about the work they do. This week we will be donating £1 for every product sold to Sands.
