A message from Gill, our Founder
Hello! I founded Little Mouse in 2017 after years of working as a Neonatal Nurse, and you can read about my inspiration below and see a video of Little Mouse HQ.
I believe buying clothes and gifts for babies should be a lovely experience! That’s why we offer products we’re proud of, helpful advice, careful packaging, convenient delivery, and personal customer service.
Thank you for shopping with our little business and don't hesitate to get in touch.

Our story & inspiration
Gillian, our founder, is a senior Neonatal Nurse (& mother) so has worked with hundreds of premature babies and their families.
"I've worked at Great Ormond Street and Chelsea and Westminster hospitals amongst others in the UK and Australia.
And seen so many parents despondent at the lack of premature baby clothing available, & receiving few appropriate gifts for their preemie, so I decided to do something to help.
With the support of my husband and friends and family, Little Mouse was born in 2017. We now ship 1000s of items a month.

Our ethics
When we founded Little Mouse we said "we’ll do business the right way, in a kind way."
We treat our customers how we’d wish to be treated ourselves, work in partnership with our suppliers and prioritise suppliers with strong ethics, and do right by our staff (currently our little team is all family and close friends!).
We want the experience of shopping with us to be enjoyable; buying clothes and gifts for babies should be lovely! That’s why we offer products we’re proud of, helpful advice, careful packaging, and personal customer service.
Our suppliers
We are also mindful that the fashion industry is tarnished by brands using child labour and environmentally unfriendly practises. We want nothing to do with this and make efforts to choose suppliers that reflect our values. The majority of our clothing is made with certified organic cotton, and most of our brands have strong sustainability policies and give back to communities or charities.
We're in the news!
We are proud to have featured in several news articles when we launched the business, also during International Prematurity Day when our founder, Gill, was interviewed to give her expert insights.
Tommy's featured our Milestone Cards on their Facebook page
This well regarded baby charity shared our product information on their social media. We donate £2 from every sale of our Milestone Cards to Tommy's.
Netmums showcased one of our micro-premature sized sleepsuits
This famous online forum featured one of our premature baby sleepsuits in one of their guides, to demonstrate the huge difference in sizing between a micro-preemie baby compared to a typical full term baby.
